Israel is actively concealing that it was the United States — not Israel — that bombed the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' school in Minab on February 28, 2026, killing over 170 Iranian schoolchildren, in order to protect the US-Israel bilateral alliance from scrutiny.
No cover-up by Israel exists or has been evidenced. The United States government itself — through Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegseth, Senator John Kennedy, and a formal Pentagon investigation — openly acknowledged and investigated American potential responsibility for the strike; Israel played no role in concealing anything, and the US was never dependent on Israel to disclose or suppress its own actions.
